My wife and I have plans to stay at the Hyatt in November. we have never been there. Are we making the right choice by staying there? I hope so. we heard that was THE place to stay.

I stayed at the Hyatt once and would never stay there again. The hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful. However, you cannot sit out on the balconies because there is only room to stand there and watch the sunset. Their staff is rather snooty and stuffy, and so were the guests we met there. I personally think that the people who stay at Hyatt Hotels think they are the "I am better than you are" crowd just because they paid the highest price to stay there. I think they are the "I am more foolish than you are" crowd instead. All of the other hotels on Palm Beach have a nicer crowd. If I were you, I would either stay at the Radisson, Wyndham or Marriott instead of the Hyatt.

Hotel caters to the wannabe's but it is a beautiful property. Just try not to get caught up with the "guest". have the renovations started it was reported that they are undergoing a $32 million dollar renovation.
