Re: HYATT

We stayed at the Hyatt in September 2003 and absolutely loved it. The view from our room on the 7th floor, the gardens are all beautiful. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cold beverage and chilled hand towels. The staff was very accommodating and all provided great customer service. The restaurants were all really nice. The beach was really really great and the huts on the beach were for Hyatt guests only. If you were not staying at the Hyatt or with a guest that was, you were not allowd to occupy one of the beach front huts, which I thought was good. Although we did not really go to the pools everyone around them seemed to be happy. There is a bar between the pools and the beach that is a good place to relax for drinks, lunch or after dinner beverages. The Pier Bar on the beach is the best place to relax and watch the sunset. The Hyatt is more expensive, but definately worth the price. Highly recommend the Hyatt.

Re: HYATT

We stayed at the Hyatt in November and it was wonderful. We just got back from Aruba again...but we stayed at the Marriot. It was ok, but I definitely prefer the Hyatt. Hyatt is in closer walking distant to local eateries. Not too many kids. More upscale.
p.s Try Azurro restaurant at the Playa Linda...you won't be sorry.

Re: HYATT

The Hyatt, my favorite. We spent our 25th anniversary there and let me just tell you talk about being served. We arrived to a very warm welcome from the people outside to the desk our room was upgraded, and everytime we went out, well not just us the door was opened, need a cab or just have a good afternoon, evening, and a bon bini when we returned. We plan on going back this Sept for our 30th. We have stayed at two other places which are nice but the Hyatt, well what can i say!!!

Re: HYATT

yes the hyatt is the most beautiful resort.. i have been staying there since 1991..the grounds are beautiful, the people ,both stafff and guests are most gracious... we have me very good friends there ,again both staff and guests. they cant do enough for you there..the service is outstanding. the restaurants are all great. they are renovating as we speak. after all every hotel need a overhaul. dont get me wrong, the hyatt is not cheap. but you get what you pay for. it is worth every penny.i wouldnt stay any where else... every one has there own opinioon.. i dont think there is a bad place in aruba... i just happen to love the hyatt.. so do all your research, but i can guarantee you that you will be happy there...enjoy!! i can go on forever and tell you everything i know and love about the hyatt.. but that would take forever.. just try it.youll love it...

Re: HYATT

LOVED the Hyatt. We had the best vacation of our life! The staff was so friendly, the conceirge staff especially went above and beyond. Tried all of the restaurants at the Hyatt, our favorite was The Ruins. Definitely not cheap, but worth every penny. The beach was great, and Red Sail sport was very convenient. The bars were a lot of fun. I will say that the rooms are small and the balcony was even smaller, but we truly were rarely in our room (who wants to stay inside when you are in Aruba!) The open air lobby was the icing on the cake.
Can't wait to return to our favorite island in the world!
