RE: Hyatt Regency
Hi, we were there the first week of march...WWWWOOOWWWW!!! it is the most beautiful hotel in the Hi rise hotel area, very lush and tropical...as far as the hotel...you will not be in your room very much, but even so we were worried that it would be too small, as we traveled with our two boys, however the room was perfect and very comfortable for all of us. the casino at the Hyatt is beautiful, we are'nt gamblers, but did do the slots and were given free drinks too!! the pool and beach area are wonderful, from the lounge chairs at the pool, to the clean, and safe beach area you can not go wrong...they have a huge water slide which our children loved, and the swim up bar was a huge plus. We ate breakfast daily either at the hyatt, or go out the lobby of the hotel and turn left you will see a dunkin donuts and a little farther down is Amici(sp) cafe which has pastries ,etc. they are were both great as we are not huge breakfast eaters, however at the time we were staying hyatt was offering to all guests a special breakfast buffet rate, awesome price, I think it was half off?? anyway we opted to buy just two days and were very pleased, the usual breakfast fare but also had cooked to order eggs, omelets etc. can't go wrong. As far as around the hotel,; just across the street from the hotel are several resturants, all offer many choices, we ate at Salt and Peppers, very good tapas type place, also Papparazzi, it's italian, was very good, service was excellent...also there is a mcdonalds, wendys, tony romas and even a subway in the area of the hyatt, an easy stroll...do walk the beach walkway down to the Wyhndam on one end of the hi rise and then to the marriott to the opposite end, you will see all of the hotels first hand, and you will easily see how beautiful the hyatt is compared to the others!! Have fun and if you want any more specifics feel free to email me personally!!
