Just returned from aruba It was great

First i wanted to thank everyone who responded to all of the questions I have asked before I took the trip. The info proved to be verry helpful. Now let me follow up with this This is the most wonderful island/ I was there for 7 days on my honeymoon May 8 - may 14. Everyone including the cab drivers was super nice and more than willing to lend a helping hand.We stayed at the Divi A\I. food was good service was great and the beaches were the best I have ever seen. as far as tours I would recommend the DePalm Island Jeep\snorkle trip. it takes 8 hrs but it was well worth the money. It was a great way to see the island. I am from south carolina and I am use to "southern hospitality" and the folks in aruba know how to give it to you.Once again this was the best trip ever thank you to everyone who made this trip the best it could be.

Greg - Way to go on tieing the knot. Best wishes to you and your bride. Aruba was by far the best place to go. Your so right about the hospitality of the Aruban people. The weather - beaches - darn near every thing. Now you have to go for a visit every now and then. <BigPapa>

Re: Just returned from aruba It was great

We went to Aruba 4 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it. We loved it so much we have went back every year! This will be our 4th time this year and we stay at the Renaissance Beach Tower and love it. We love the boat ride and the private island.
On the second trip to Aruba we divided the week up and stayed in Curacao a few days, we couldn't wait to get to Aruba. This year we thought we would go to Turks & Caicos, but we've decided we already miss Aruba.
Good luck on your marriage, start planning for Aruba next year.

Re: Just returned from aruba It was great

Congratulations! Glad to hear you loved Aruba. Most everyone does. Just to let you know, I have a studio at Divi Village, which is absolutely beautiful. It sleeps 4. I'm trying to rent it for this year and even sell it eventually. My hubby is not well, and we don't get to use it too much. It's week 48. Usually falls in the first wk of December. I'm renting it for $500 and will sell for $5500. the cost of what we bought it for a few years back. Let me know if you know anyone who may be interested. Thanks Carol
