kitchen info for divi golf

we are staying at the divi golf in july. we plan on eating in a few nights. i was wondering if anyone has stayed here and can give me a heads up on the kitchen. what does it have as far as cooking equiptment? what is it missing? any and all info appreciated!

Two months ago I stayed in a studio at Divi Golf. The kitchen area had everything you would need in a kitchen except it did not have an oven; there was a four burner stove top. I don't know if the 1 bedroom units have ovens. The unit had all the dishware, glassware and utensils you would need. There was a microwave and dishwaher. What I loved that there was there was a washer/dryer in the unit.

thanks liz! we have a studio reserved. we plan on eating in a few night so this info is great. i am sooooo excited! i read that there are bbq's there. are they accessable and usable? any info you can give on places in walking distance would be great.

walking distance from the divi golf village resort:
the beach is across the street a short maybe 5 minute walk

the alhambra casino and shopping place is about 200yds away and there is a dunkin donuts there. the resort provides a golf cart like shuttle to the alhambra. shopping is not great and the stores do not open til late afternoon/evening.

other close by walks......the abc/cdm resort, and their restaurant. manchebo resort and its restaurants, pizza bob, bucuti and its restaurant.

the hospital is within walking distance.

the grocery stores are within walking distance, although walking back schlepping bags are tough (taxi readily available)

and the divi golf is right there on the bus line!
hop on the bus.....couple of buck round trip and you can head up to the high rise area or downtown or both.

Last year we stayed at one of the new 2 bedroom units since our bathroom in the older unit was broken....the unit did not have an oven only the new microwave/oven units.....had to figure out, but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty simple to operate....
They are nice since they have washer and dryers in the rooms...the older units only have them in the penthouse suites..


You should not want for anything as far as a home away from home is concerned...enjoy !!!!!!

my son wants info on the pool slide and do the rooms have a blender in the kitchen? also do they have a coffe maker and what type filters do i need for it....i am use to a percolator...lol

Yes, there is a blender. As for the coffee maker I'm pretty sure I used basket type filters. What tye of info do you need on the pool slide?

i couldn't find any pics of it. is it just a pool slide or is it like a water ride slide? (for some reason this is important to him...lol 13 yr olds!)
