I am going back to Aruba sometime in the fall. Last year we stayed at Radisson with 2 kids. How is La Cabana. Is it directly on the beach or do you have to cross the street? Also, where is the casino? Also how does it compare to Radisson - pros and cons? Thanks for the info!

LaCabana is across the street, 800 + suites, casino is on again, off again for not paying bills. Great pools.

Cabana is great for kids, also. lots of programs much of the day. yes, you have to cross a small 'street' (one lane each way). Traffic stops as soon as someone wants to cross, but, still....it is a street with cars rolling by.

Stayed there three times with three kids. Good place to go with children, accomodations are fine (nothing to write home about, great pools and good beach. A bit of a walk but really no big deal. However, having seen the Radisson hotel and pool, why do you want to come to LaCAbana?
