What a DUMP! We are now at the Hyatt... and it is AWESOME!

We love La Cabana! Can't beat Eagle beach and facilities. Yes, the rooms can do with improvements....but far from a dump.

Are you talking about LaCabana Beach and Racquet Club? Please tell me more since I just booked there and will change if I have to. Thanks

LA CABANA IS NOT A DUMP. I own 2 weeks there and i love it. yes it needs a little updating but the people there are great the rooms are clean and price is very reasonable. enjoy the hyatt to each his own but the hyatt is too expensive for my taste. i rather spend the money on the great food they have on the island and going to the casinos and the jewelry stores.

for the amount of time you are going to be in the rooms the rooms are just fine.

I don't think it's possible for anywhere on eagle beach to be a "dump"
La Cabana is CLEARLY advertised as a 3 or 4 star hotel ... didn't you realize that it wouldn't be as nice as the Hyatt when you were paying such a good price to stay at LC?
You'll enjoy your vacation in Aruba a lot more if you drop the city attitude and relax!!

I have to agree, the place is a DUMP. I would never stay there again. Made the mistake once and have since returned to Palm Beach High Rise hotels. Service is terrible, room need more than an update. The walk to the beach gets real old real fast.
