I have stayed in this room. It is a one bedroom oceanfront. Below this room on the other floors are the two bedroom oceanfronts but on the 4th floor they are 1 bedrooms. Nice room and great view. Here is a couple of pics of the view.

and the kid at the front desk says 401D, don't you mean 401E.
i have to laugh........some of the employees here are a bit clueless.

ex: our pullout sofa bed is broken.
i had to ask for it to be repaired/replaced or a rollaway be brought in.
dear son and daughter in law were sleeping on a slant on the broken queen sleeper sofa.
at least 5 request and each time their answer was "no, only 4 allowed in a 1 bedroom".
so i explained again.
paul explained.
we took a photo and showed
"only 4 allowed in a room"
took my security friend (stanley) into our room, showed him and he went and explained to desk person.
omgosh it took 3 days.
so we now have 1 broken pullout sofa (that is new) and 1 rollaway bed.
and there are only 4 in the unit.
hubby, me, kid and kid's wife!

hahaha u know that and i know that but "the genius" that i produced propped a phone book and a brick under the broken leg to make due for his bride, while he sleeps in the rollaway.
they are almost in bed now, and i had the MOD come into the room about 30 minutes ago to show him. he finally "got it".
and said "we'll remove the additional $10 per night charge for the rollaway.
i said you bet your buttocks you will.

This makes complete sense now. On La Cabana's website, it used to show a floor layout for each floor. Now they only show the 2nd which is silly. For a while I really thought the room just didn't exist. Thank you for posting, the view is amazing. I can't wait to watch the sunsets from here, even though it won't be our room.
