Re: La Cabana Villas info..?

The Villas are big units in the back part of LaCabana. The pool there has a slide and there is a Dunkin Donuts there too. Some pple feel the Units can be old, we just stayed in one this past Feb. and it was clean and did smelled clean. You will like it at LaCabana. Go to the bigger pool across the way and go to the beach. The Villas are now seperate from the Beach and Racquet Club.

Re: La Cabana Villas info..?

just stayed there in March, it was great, very friendly staff, we stayed in a studio on the first floor our patio door opened to the pool area. The only complaint we had about the room was when you initally walked in the room, it smelled like an ashtray. Walking from the resort it took about 2 minutes to get to the water (Eagle Beach) from our room. It's not the Marriot but how much time do you actually spend in your room on vacation?? Especially when the pools and beach are that close. I would definately go back. And if you get a chance, go across the street to the Black Hog Saloon for the BBQ, it was a blast!!

Re: La Cabana Villas info..?

We also stay at the Villas . There is everything there you need . We have a one bedroom , 2nd. floor . I never smelled anything bad . If I did you would still hear me yelling . They have been bought out and from what I hear they were originally built as apartments for tax purposes . They are not the ritz, but you are not paying ritz prices . If there was ever something I needed replaced , (toaster oven ) it was done asap . More blankets , they were there . Another pull out couch , was done before I arrived. What more do people want .????? I love it !!!!
