We just returned 10/5 after a week @ LaCabana. We went w/2 other couples& had the all-inclusive plan. The resort was okay,but we found it to be a pain to have to sign for each beverage,snack etc that we ordered. We had wrist bands to identify ourselves as AI,but needed to sign room#,sign&print name & all wrist bands ID #S. To get drinks for a party of 6 gave me writer's cramp. We stayed @ the Divi a few years ago & only had to show our bands. Which is common practice?

It's funny you say that because my husband and I thought the same thing--that it was overkill to have to sign those slips for every drink--you couldn't even run a tab!! I thought by showing the wrist band was evidence enough!

Is the all inclusive plan at LaCabana really worth it?

we own at La Cabana and go back every two years or so as we live on the Pacific coast. we have never taken the all-inclusive and personally dont think its worth the effort. Besides,there are far too many great places to eat on the island, even close by.

My wife and I did the all-inclusive the last time we were there, never again!

Other than the drinks,we really didn't think that the AI was that great. For breakfast there was only 1 restaurant(&a kiosk) open, lunch & dinner had a few more options. For dinner, you could only go to the Captain's Table or El Piscado(?SP) once each. You could get pizza,hot dogs,burgers until 10pm but we were not really impressed. We enjoyed the Divi much better.
