Lacabana Questions

Hi - I thank any and all of you that reply in advance.

Is La Cabana directly on the beach or across the street?

If across the street, is there another hotel between LaCabana and the beach?

I have stayed at the Marriott in the past, which has US TV stations (they have all of the local NY stations). Does Lacabana? Do they have ESPN? (yeah, I know I am in Aruba but I need my football on Sunday and Monday night)

Do they have BBQ grills to use? Are they clean? Is there a charge to use them?

Does Lacabana offer internet and if they do is it free? ( I know, I'm in Aruba, but I have to check the work e-mail)

I saw a post about units with Sunday arrival being free of construction. What about units for a Friday arrival?

Is it a hassle to get a hut (what do they call those things) on the beach or do I have to get up at 6 to wait on line to reserve one?

Again, thank you to all that take the time to reply. I appreciate it.

Lacabana is directly ACROSS the street from the beach with NO hotel/resort in between.

lcabana gets most of the channels, unsure about ESPN.

no charge to use the CLEAN grills. one of the pool attendants will help u if necessary.

sign up for internet at the front desk when you check in. $35 wireless per week. $70 per month

let me know the unit number and i will tell you about construction in the area.

depending on the time of year you have to get out there early.
christmas thru carnival season 6 am is the time to get a shade hut

spring break you'd have to get out there early too!

please post your unit number and the month you will be on island and i will check your unit for you.

there are plenty of crosswalks all along that road and some of the resorts (lacabana and Amsterdam Manor) even have security officers or beach attendants that on occasion act as crossing guards.

This has been equally as helpful to me! I have a couple questions as well.

Should one take their own beach towels?

Thank you dear Andrea!

nope they provide towels big thick heavy green towels.

if you are not fussy on your shampoo and soap they also provide soap, shampoo and dish liquid. NO COFFEE filters, paper towels.
