Looking for hotel WITHOUT KIDS

Hi everyone,

We are going to Aruba on our honeymoon in late August. I was wondering if anyone knows which is the best hotel to stay at if you don't want to be disturbed by young children.

Thank you,

Suzan

There are no adult only resorts but the Bucuti doesn't have kids program so that would be your best bet.

Susan,
I was just there in May and stayed at the Aruba Grand. I honestly saw maybe 3 kids over a weeks time and heard not a peep from them....Its such a quiet hotel..

Susan,

Bucuti discourages kids. They have awesome "honeymoon" bungalos whaich are basicaly a round building cut into 4 units. Each has a kitchenette and a cool redwood (LARGE) private porch......Very quiet property....very spa-like...Very nice beach...very nice property.

Re: Looking for hotel WITHOUT KIDS

I was at the Aruba Grand in December of '04 and there may have been a family or two, however, the majority of the people staying there were probably in their 60's and up. I'm 40. It was a very quiet hotel - no late night parties there, but we didn't care and had a wonderful time.

You may want to call around or ask a Travel Agent what they suggest. We stayed at the Divi on our honeymoon 12 years ago and there was not a child to be seen. From what I understand, the Divi is still geared towards couples and not families, it is popular for honeymoon couples. Good luck!

Missy- does the Bucuti have a all inclusive option?? are those bungalo's right on the beach? The big porch sounds really fabulous. We are going to Aruba in Sept for our Honeymoon,, getting ready to book the Divi ?

Re: Looking for hotel WITHOUT KIDS

We stayed at the Renaissance on our honeymoon, the beach tower. You take a short boat ride out to a private island and they have an adult side and a childrens side. I don't remember hardly any children, but in Aug. since school is out, there might be more children at the resorts. Also, airflight is expensive to Aruba, so lots of familys can not afford air travel. Good luck!

My vote for a honeymoon goes to Tara Suites at the Bucuti.
