May Honeymoon

My fiancee and I are planning a honeymoon for this May. We are preferably looking for an all inclusive hotel or a hotel that offers an all inclusive option. We were looking at the Divi Mega All Inclusive but have read many negative reviews about it lately. I was wondering why people don't like this resort and what other resorts people would possibly recommend. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Re: May Honeymoon

We are staying at the all-inclusive Aruba Grand Beach Resort. We are getting married in May too! It's our first time in Aruba. We don't want too much noise e.g. kids and young 20 somethings partying all the time. You can find the resort on the web.

Re: May Honeymoon

I too am getting married in May. We are Honeymooning in Aruba and are staying at the Wyndham Aruba. We have stayed at other Wyndham hotels and have always enjoyed our time. Actually, our travel agent said the Wyndham is a very nice Hotel in Aruba and recommended we stay there. I have read both good and bad. If you do stay at the Wyndham make sure that you reister as a Wyndham By Request. Just go into the Wyndham Aruba Hotel sight and it will tell you how to register. If you register you get some really nice perks. Also, it is good at all Wyndham properties.

Good lunch with your choice.

Re: May Honeymoon

James... we all appreciate your comments, but this woman just said she had booked the Aruba Grand for her Honeymoon. You could AT LEAST be a little more adult and reserved when giving your viewpoints. Thanks.

I have heard mixed things about every hotel on Aruba. But you just have to go with what you like and read the reviews on TripAdvisor.com carefully.

Just found this good one below, on Trip Advisor about the Aruba Grand.

Aruba Grand Beach Resort & Casino: "Wonderful Vacation"

Don't understand all the negative comments about the Aruba Grand. We spent a week there in January, 2004 and had a wonderful time. The rooms on 7 & 8 had all been redone and were terrific. Service from all the staff was friendly and timely. The grounds were spacious, clean and NEVER crowded. The pool is not "fancy" but is quite large with plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas and again never crowded. There was also no early AM line up for a beach hut as we saw at other resorts. Huts were available almost all the time up to 9:00 AM. The pool bar was a real treat with cool drinks and hot food served all day. We will be going back to the Aruba Grand.

I've read good and bad about all hotels in Aruba. You just have to read the reviews on TripAdvisor.com and go with what you want for your own vacation.

The Aruba Grand sounds quiet, affordable and nice. And I think that's what this woman said she wanted. Here is a recent review from TripAdvisor....
