lacabana's 1 yr maintenance fees aren't $1200
more like $500 for a 1 bedroom
the $1200 you are mentioning is that the special assessment fee that has been billed to pay the renovations?

you can actually contact lacabana's owner services and ask if the current owner is paid in full on special assessment and maintence fees.

ask too if the unit has been renovated

let us know how things progress.

typically a good price would be about $4000 for a 1 bedroom with assessment paid in full a little less money if it were not a pool or ocean view.

According to La Cabana's site the maintenance fee is $1231 for 2009 - it is an "E" unit

that is steep
but it is a terrific view/location

honestly, unsure if it is worth $1200 annually

we owned many units are lacabana and converted them all into bluegreen points a few years ago.

we do love lacabana.
