Hi, I am going to aruba in july for my honeymoon & am reading mixed reviews about the hotel we're stayin in for both food & state of hotel.
is't the occidental grand in palm beach & we're going all inclusive.
please could I have some feedback about your experiences there
my other half is a veggie & is there plenty of choice for him to eat or is it a case of taking loads of walkers crisps & crackers !

Thanks everyone.

Another one. Why do some people that want information use an incorrect Email address?

Hi, the e mail address is correct thank you , however you respond to the message board so what's your point exactly ?
If you do have information it would be appreciated but if it's too much trouble don't bother.

Re: occidental grand palm beach

Hi saw your question regarding the Allegro Occidental resort. We have stayed there four times (in the past four years), the latest time was April 2002. The four of us will be going on Jan 19 for 10 days, but we are staying at the Wyndham (all-inclusive) the Allegro is in much need of a big time face lift. The food is ok and gets old very quickly (not much choice)the bar has gotten worse and worse. There are no premium brands of alcohol or beer. The staff is very friendly though, and if you do go to the Allegro request the lanai rooms by the pool, they made going to and from the pool etc very, very convenient. Check out the Holiday Inn Sunspree or the Wyndham they are very close to the Allegro and offer all-inclusive. If you don't drink, don't bother with all-inclusive, but if you do, you have no option, since the drinks are very, very expensive. Good Luck

Re: occidental grand palm beach

I attempted to get into the Wyndham for May but it was all sold out. I am concerned about your message regarding the food and the drinks at the Allegro. Although I plan on casually drinking so I think I will go with teh all inclusive. From your message it appears that the holiday in may be better. Can you comment as to why?
