We have owned at the Ocean Club for years (purchased pre-construction) and we love it. Units are large and well appointed. You can see some pictures at
http://www.arubaoceanclub.com/. The local bus stops just outside the Marriott property and is a great way to get around and meet people. You can get to grocery stores (there are 4 on the bus line and they are within walking distance of each other), downtown, and the some beaches. If you plan go grocery shopping via bus, though, bring some tote bags to carry things back in. They use the same flimsy plastic used here.
The beach at the OC is fine so you don't have to go anywhere else for that. You can use the health club at Marriott Hotel (which also has a casino). Units have balcony which is very nice when the sun is not shining directly on it. Remember your camera for shots of the great sunsets. Bring sunscreen and use it early and often. You can get burnt even early and late in the day.
