I'm with you, Palm Beach is more crowded but more fun and action. I know the Surf Club has lots of people, but there are so many things to do...and we can drive down to Eagle Beach in 5 minutes if we want some quiet time.

I guess once we settle in under our palapa the world seems great anywhere in Aruba.

I am a Palm Beach fan as well. It has never been over crowded when we are there. I don't feel people are on top of each other. But then again to each their own. I LOVE being in Aruba so I don't think it matters where you are.

We loved Palm Beach for many years. It still does not get as crowded as say the Jersey shore on the 4th of July weekend....

Imo, it really depends upon what you are truly looking for. If you NEED calm waters, then Palm Beach is perpetually, except when there is a storm out to sea, lake like.

If you NEED a lot of activities and restaurants within walking distance, then Palm beach is for you.

Along Eagle, Manchebo and Druif Beaches, the water can get a bit rough at times. We have stayed on Druif beach during the summer and winter and had days of waves.

If the possibility of waves does not bother you and you do not have to be in the middle of the activity, then I would say the beautiful stretches of Eagle, Manchebo and Druif Beaches would be a pleasant change.

We've been twice -- first time was at Bucuti on Eagle beach three years ago, and this year at Holiday Inn at Palm Beach -- so we've experienced both ends of the spectrum!! lol!
Eagle Beach sometimes had fun waves (not scary) to play in and Palm beach water was flat calm and not as clear (or clean?). Way better beach at Eagle, but more fun walking around at night at Palm Beach area. So, they each have their draws!

As long as it's Aruba..... I'm fine.... do prefer Palm Beach and have never found it crowded during off season!

Here were some calmer days on Druif Beach. During different trips in the past we have seen the water go from flat to HUGE.
