does anyone know of any accomodations in aruba that allow pets? i am travelling with 2 small dogs in late march.

Check the rules and regulations regarding bringing your pets back into the states before you take them out of the country. Our friend had to quarantine the dog in order to bring it home with her.

Do you really need to bring you dogs? It will be a hassle!

Why do your dogs need to go ? Check with US Customs . Thedogs might need to go for 10 days in doggie jail on their return.

i have checked with customs and all i need is a current health certificate. i have taken them to mexico twice and belize, so i am not really concerned with entry. if anyone know of any hotels or rentals that accept pets, please advise.

Having worked for the airlines for 6yrs.It is horrible to put animals in a cargo compartment!!

You are right,all you need is current health certificate.I brought my dog FROM ARUBA TO NJ she is 10 pound and i did'nt
have any trouble.She came with me in the passenger compartment.If you need help

i actually put them under the seat in front of me - not the cargo area!

Kathy- 3 years ago I rescued a dog from the hot streets of Aruba. He was a stray and came to me as soon as we pulled up to the house we rented. He is a wonderful dog and was back then. It was the best thing I ever did. Was your dog from there as well?
