Unhappy Place to stay

So.... We are arriving on Friday the 11th of March. We thought the extra day would be nice as we generally loose a day traveling anyway. We are staying at the Divi Dutch starting Saturday.

Unfortunately we waited to book Friday night and now all we can find is a $350 room. Can anyone suggest where to stay for a single night? We are just looking for a bed.

We could also just do the beach but not our first choice...

welcome to the aruba.com community forum.

here are a few suggestions
MVC EAGLE BEACH a small hotel, very unresort like, clean and across from Eagle Beach. Although not luxurious, it will do for an overnight.

TALK OF THE TOWN...another small resort near the airport. that too clean and will suffice for an overnight.

Brickel Bay, up in the high rise area. unsure about cleanliness but their pool is pretty.

also try 1st PRICELINE, name your own price. make sure you click resort otherwise you may not get a good place.

Last year we got the Marriott for $100 per night starting about the same time of year through priceline. It was going for $300+ on all the various travel sites at the time.

Just looked via hotels.com and the cheapest option was Brickell Bay at $159, but Divi Dutch was $189. You might want to call and see if they will give you a better price and check into the room you already have booked. If not, being on-site may be worth the extra cash.

almost there

Thought we narrowed it down to Quality Apartments.

But we just found out that Del Ray has rooms (and they are a bit less expensive)

Can anyone say if one is better than the other? Are both walking distance to the beach?

Thanks in advance!!

quality is about 1 mile to beach
i know someone who stays there for 3 months every winter.
she loves it there.
it takes her 3o minutes to walk from quality to the beach(eagle) in front of lacabana)
