Place to Stay

Couple looking to spend five or six days at the beginning of next year in Aruba. Looking for place where we can be away from kids and cook our own meals. Like privacy but would love to be on the water, if possible. We like to dive, gamble and just lay around in the sun.

Appreciate any information that'll help us pick a place.

Thanks

Sandra

Bucuti Beach resort sounds like the place for you.

Unfortunatey if you stay at Bucuti you cannot cook your own meals. You will need a timeshare and there are several on the beach. Check out various websites and see what they have to offer. Be aware that some of the timeshares call themselves "beach resort" and they are not located directly on the beach.

You might want to consider renting our deluxe beach house. It has all the things you mentioned plus great private pool under the palm trees in our garden, hot tub, maid BBQ, US Cable TV, Stereos and VCRs, espresso maker and every other modern convenience. You can see many photos and details on our web site:

Thanks for all your help. Bucuti or Manchebo seem to fit the bill even though we won't be able to cook. Thanks again for the input!

RE: Place to Stay

You should consider staying at the Amsterdam, they have kitchenettes in the rooms. They are across the street from the beach, but isn't a busy street, and the beach is large and beautiful. I was just there June 13th!
