Radisson

I'm looking to stay at the Radisson for my honeymoon this June. What I'm looking for is who can tell me if it's worth it to pay an additional $400 for the week to stay in a deluxe ocean view room as opposed to a partial ocean view room. Anyone stay in either room? Does the hotel upgrade your room if you mention that it's your honeymoon?

Thanks!

Re: Radisson

What do you mean additional? The room is 325.00 plus tax a night. We always stay in deluxe ocean/pool view room. I like to go back to the room before dinner and have a few drinks on the balcony and look out into the ocean. Its a great view and you can watch the sunset. It all depends on what you like to do. If your never in the room, then I guess it doesn't matter what kind of view you have.I never stayed in partial view so I can't tell you the difference. Ask for the Aruba tower. Its the main building. I always call the hotel direct when I make reservations. They can answer any questions or concerns that you have. Congratulations and I hope you have a great time.

Re: Radisson

PS- If you go under Index on this board, and go to hise rise hotels, click on the Radisson and you will see a picture of what the view is like in a deluxe ocean/pool view room from the Aruba tower.

Re: Radisson

YES YES YES. It is worth it. We have been to the Radisson six times and would never stay anywhere but ocean/pool view in the Aruba Tower. Don't know where you are pricing your trip but try www.aruba4u.com. You can price your trip right off their website. There is nothing like sitting on the balcony at sunset with a drink in hand listen to the waterfalls, see the sun set and get the best view of the pool/ocean/island.

Re: Radisson

We stayed in the Aruba Tower in a partial ocean view. It was a great room. Looked out over the water, beautiful front view, however, if you turned to the side of the balcony, you overlooked the roof of the Sunset Grill (looking down - we were on the 7th floor) and the parking Lot - also a view of the island. All in all, the room itself was great and the amount of time we spent on the deck, it was worth having the extra money to spend not booking an ocean view.
