Radisson or Hyatt the best choice

My husband and I are traveling to Aruba in October for our 10 year anniversary and we are debating whether to stay at the Hyatt or Radisson. We are in are late-30s and enjoy snorkeling and hanging out at the beach and the pool. Any suggestions?

Have been through the grounds of both, but never stayed at either. My choice from observation would be the Radisson.

Have beento both - Definitely Radisson. The rooms have balconies if you want to sit out. Recently underwent 55 million dollar renovation - Hyatt looks like it needs to renovate a little bit. Staff was friendlier at Radisson.

Re: Radisson or Hyatt the best choice

We just returned from Radisson and loved it. The pool area is much more spread out than at the Hyatt. The Hyatt lounge chairs were placed very close together; sometimes 9 in a row. There was no room to pull them apart either. The Radisson had small groupings of 2-4 chaises together. Also, the Hyatt had cheap chaises on the beach. They were the ones with the narrow rubber tubing. We were very surprised by this. The grounds around the Radisson were very lush, and it had a more tranquil feel overall. We had rooms in the Bonaire Tower-garden view. They were lovely with views of the gardens and pool.

Re: Radisson or Hyatt the best choice

they are both great.. i found the people at the hyatt extremely pleasant and friendly, i have been staying there four years in a row and years before that... the grounds are far more better and prettier at the hyatt.. and just a nicer hotel... around the pool it could get crowded, but you just simply move your chair... i prefer thechairs at the hyatt on the beach..., their more airy... the hyatt does have sit out balconies.. ocean front... i would stay at the radisson if i couldnt get into the hyatt... dont get me wrong the radisson is a lovely hotel.. i just like the hyatt better... and the hyatt just started renovating the rooms... i just left in march and thats what they told me when i was leaving...whereever you stay .. you will love aruba...have fun... also tha restairants in both hotels are excellent...

My wife and I have been staying at the Hyatt for many years now and we love. We have been to the other hotels. They are nice. It's what you are looking for. Each hotel has their own personality and things to do. We always have a balcony that we sit on with table and chairs. The staff are the best. we have made friends with many of them.
when are you going in October. We always go at the end of October.

Sharon,

I don't know what all this posting about Tripadvisor is about but from what I have just seen, I think everyone here gets your point.

It is not necessary to go into every thread and paste that info. It doesn't belong in the Wyndham thread, or the Manchebo thread, or the Holiday Inn thread.

If you wanted to get your information out, you could have simply started a topic and let that be it.

99.9% of the people that read up on things here have read up on things there as well.

So as much as I appreciate you trying to let others know about Tripadvisor, please keep it where it belongs, in one thread and not all over the board.

Thanks

Shammy
