Does anyone have any experience using the RCI points system to reserve Aruba timeshares during high season?

My wife and I have used the points system the last 3 times we have went to Aruba.Before that we used the weeks program.Belonging to points you can use both weeks and points.If you have specific weeks you want to go to Aruba you need to put in a request as far ahead as possible.Somehow we have been able to get trades the last 6 times we have been there.You have to be very flexable in the size and location of the different resorts they have available.

Can you give any further info on RCI Aruba Grand, I need to plan for my second week. I have too many unanswered questions. I have walked over many web pages w/o answers. All inclusive cost vs. basic and enjoy local. Club Royal vs. non. I'm on vacation I do not want to discuss a major thing.
