Renaissance Meal Plan

Hello all...I will be heading back to Aruba in August, I was wondering if the Renaissance offered any meal plans. I dont want an all inclucsive becasue I like to eat out at the many cool resaruants in aruba. But I would like maybe a breakfast plan or perferably a lunch plan. Let me know if there is one that is offerened, and if you have the prices or a link to that info that would ROCK!! Thanks so much

Re: Renaissance Meal Plan

Steve - I'm not sure about the Renaissance, but I did inquire last year at the Marriott Ocean club and they did have one. It didn't work out for us - I think they offered 2-day, 3-day inclusive. They may have offered a breakfast only, I can't really remember. But since the Ren is also a Marriott property, they may very well offer the same. $160 per day seems to ring a bell with me, less for children.

Re: Renaissance Meal Plan

Do not recommend a Food All Inclusive. There are too many great places to eat in Aruba. These are the different packages you may purchase at the frontdesk: daily breakfast buffet, $14.00 per person per day; breakfast & lunch, $29.00 per person per day; breakfast & beverage $55.00 per person per day and a drink plan that is $41 a day per person for all Premium Alcoholic & Non alcoholic beverages - which is a great deal considering the price of drinks. A minimum stay of three nights applies to all plan packages. They do have an All Inclusive Package which is $115.00 per day per person, Kids: 13-17 $55.00, Kids 12 & under: FREE. Includes non-motorized water sports on the Renaissance Island and their Let's Go Latin Show. Minimum of five nights stay applies. And no, I do not work for the Renaissance - my husband and I are going in August and we e-mailed them and asked about their packages. Enjoy it there - we certainly do.

Re: Renaissance Meal Plan

I just came back yesterday from Aruba and stayed at the Renaissance. They do offer a meal plan now. There were two types - breakfast or breakfast and lunch. It was pretty reasonable.
