    Thumbs up Renaissance Ocean Suites

    My Dear Aruba Lovers,

As an owner of units at the Ocean Suites, I can tell you that you cannot get closer to Paradise than the Renaissance. The Renaissance is Managed by the Marriott, so that is your golden ticket! Any problem just dial zero and your problem is solved! The suites are lovely, and the King sized bed would please The Princess and the Pea! The kitchen is not as large as the Surf Club, but as we vacation as a couple all your needs are met. My husband and I love relaxing and not having to get up to snag a beach chair. The Private Island is to die for. Plenty of privacy, and the beach and snorkeling are excellent. There are plenty of high end shops to meander through and two huge Casinos. And there are about 25 wonderful restaurants, some with entertainment all within walking distance. If you feel like taking a personal trip around the island, e-mail a fellow named Cerry.

If you have any further questions, feel free to PM me. We would love to share our personal paradise with you. Enjoy Aruba!
    Cheers,
    Sue

That looks fabulous!! I was thinking for our 2nd trip - to not plan any excursions - just sit back in the sand & relax.

    Thanks!!

    Hi,

If you are trading through II and get an island suite (view of parking lot) don't fret about it. Just take the elevator down to the main area, head for the private island, and you will have the most fabulous view in the world!
    Bon dia,
    Susan

P.S. Most people do not spend a whole lot of time on their balconies anyway, and the island suites have many palm trees which give you privacy.

I wish I was there now!!!

I am in an inquisitive mood today , when you stay at the Renaissance, is there separate check-in for the marina tower and ocean towers?

If you had a two bedroom unit at the SC, pay the $75 and split your week. You can try to use your studio to get a one bdrm if that is the only size they have. Then you have the other half to use another time.

Not sure if they have studio's and 1 bdrms or both but I wouldn't trade my 2 bdrm to get a one bedroom. Actually, you should do the same when you go to the SC!

Please remember that the only way to experience the peace and relaxation of the 42 acre Private Island at the Renaissance is to stay at the Renaissance Aruba Resort. We love the luxury of not fighting for a beach chair or a Palapa at 5AM in the morning. Just returned and it was the most relaxing vacation ever! A trip report will follow shortly. Simply put, the Renaissance Ocean Suites are fabulous!

    Feeling great,
    Susan
