My wife and I are looking to rent at the Reniassance for three nights from July 21 to 24. Any suggestions as to which building is the best. Thank you.

Depends on what you like to do. The Marina Tower is in the shopping district and near lots of good restaurants. The Ocean Suites are about three blocks away from the shopping area and have kitchenettes, balconies and a manmade beach area for sunbathing. You can take the boat shuttle to Renaissance Island from either. The Marina Tower is probably a little cheaper.

The Ocean Suites are nicer and larger. They are right across the street but set back. Most of the units are timeshare and the rest are to be rented. Some have kitchens, which is a nice feature to keep drinks and things in the room. The pool area is clean and nice. The man made beach is big, The private island is cool. The boat ride is fun. Both places can use the island. It has shade, food, and a bathroom what more do you need.

My husband and I just got back a few days ago from Aruba and the Renaissance Marina. It was wonderful. The room was small but quite adequate. I believe it is all adults on the Marina side as I did not see any children. Nice restaurants, a great bar in the lobby with a wonderful happy hour everyday, casino right in the hotel and best of all the "private island" for use by both sides. The island is awesome. Can't wait to go back!

I'm so glad too see this. I was seeing a lot about the Radisson and was worried we booked at the wrong place. We leave in 3 days to stay at the Reniassance. The rooms looked nice plus we couldn't pass up the private island. Thanks for the info!!!
