I own 2 2B/R villas (timeshares) at the Marriott Ocean Club and have them reserved for 12/22/02 - 12/29/02. This is the premier place to stay in Aruba. It is next door to the Marriott Hotel, and you would have complete access to its amenities. These 2 B/R oceanview suites rent out at $930/nite (+tax) by the Marriott, although they are currently sold out. This week is PRIME week and therefore very expensive.
