rooms at the radisson

I am planning on booking our stay at the Radisson, and I was wondering if there was a better building to request than another? Are the rooms spacious?

RE: rooms at the radisson

There are three buildings. The Aruba Tower is the main tower that has check-in and rooms above the fourth floor. These rooms are said to be the biggest. The Aruba Tower is eight floors high and if you have an even numbered room on the fifth to eigth floor you have the best views. The Bonaire is in the middle and is about four floors high. Here most of the rooms are very nice. The Courcao is the last building has six floors and has smaller rooms. It is the one building to aviod if possible. You may get a room that faces the parking lot or the alley between the Rad and the Aruba Grand. It is also "set back" from the beach.
Best are the Aruba Tower or the Bonaire both on as high a floor as you can get. In any event, the place was rebuilt just three years ago and the rooms are all nice. Enjoy.

I agree with Marty. We stayed at the Raddisson in August and we were in the Curacao tower for one night and then moved to the Aruba tower for our remaining stay. We were on the 7th floor, but an odd numbered room. The room in the Aruba tower was much bigger and had a great view. Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the input!--What is the difference between the concierge level and the other rooms?

Concierge Level is the top floor (8th) in the Aruba Tower. You have a private room for the floors guests. It has a large screen TV, sofa, newspapres, magazines and is nicely decorated. It is open in the morning for coffee, fruit and continental breakfast. In the afternoon into the evening they have an open bar and hot and cold food. The guest rooms are not any bigger. But if you get an even numbered room (the most expensive) you will have a great ocean/pool view. I don't think it is worth all the extra money they usually charge. For a honeymoom or special vacation I would probably go for it.

To "net things out", you want an even # room, in the Tower Building, on the 4th floor or higher!!! The Radisson is very nice...Enjoy!!!

RE: rooms at the radisson

Hi Marty,
Thanks for your input on the concierge level. I booked a great deal on the internet, directly from the Radisson rates (fall sale savings @ 25% off). I only hope I get the even numbered room so that I have a great view pool-ocean view. Do you think it's wise to call them or wait till I get there to see what's in store as far as the room numbers (odd or even). Are the views so bad that are not even numbers?

Your advice is appreciated.
Thank you.
Beverly
