I will have been married 5years this year and I am looking for a place to take my husband to surprise him. Anyone have any suggestions of a place, I do not like high buildings. Thanks in Advance

Aruba is the place to be! We stayed in the Marriott Aruba Stellaris Hotel & Casino and would recommend it highly. We loved every minute we were there and are planning to return in January 2004! We were there in Feb 2002. It was the neatest thing we've ever done! And we can't wait to go back. Just ask for a lower floor room. But the view is incredible from the upper floors. Don't settle for the cheaper hotels - it's not worth it. The beach is incredible and the service is awesome. They do totally cater to you!

If you like lo-rise hotels, there are several for you to pick from. Check out websites for: Bucuti, Manchebo, Amsterdam Manor and see what they look like. Lo-rise hotels are smaller than hi-rise places so the beaches are less crowded and there are less kids around. Wherever you decide to stay, have a great time.

Are there alot of activities there?
I will do a higher floor if it is worth it.
