Standard Ocean View Room?

Can anyone tell me first hand what a Standard Ocean View Room at the Wyndham is like?

I'm really not all that picky, especially since we basically only sleep in the room - as long as it is clean! But how does it compare to the Marriott and Divi, which are the only other resorts we've stayed at.

Re: Standard Ocean View Room?

HM - I have never stayed at the Marriott or Divi, but I have stayed at the Wyndham. I believe all of the standard rooms are the same. The room category is determined by which floor you are on. Standard is 5-8 (odd numbered rooms facing the lighthouse); Superior is 9-12 (odd-numbered rooms facing the lighthouse); and Deluxe is 5-18 (even numbered rooms overlooking the pool). Request a low numbered room on a higher floor and you should have a nice ocean view because all patio doors face the ocean on an angle.

and be sure to join the Wyndham by Request program. They will automatically upgrade you to a superior room no charge when you get there, also have goodies in the room for you.

Re: Standard Ocean View Room?

Sharon,

I don't know what all this posting about Tripadvisor is about but from what I have just seen, I think everyone here gets your point.

It is not necessary to go into every thread and paste that info. It doesn't belong in the Wyndham thread, or the Manchebo thread, or the Holiday Inn thread.

If you wanted to get your information out, you could have simply started a topic and let that be it.

99.9% of the people that read up on things here have read up on things there as well.

So as much as I appreciate you trying to let others know about Tripadvisor, please keep it where it belongs, in one thread and not all over the board.

Thanks

Shammy

Sharon, Sharon, Sharon...tsk tsk.
It's clear that "The REAL Shammy" is someone you've enlisted in your bizzare crusade, if in fact it not you. When you can be honest and use your real screen name, only then can you accuse people of usin an alias.
