My husband and I are staying at the Tamarijn Beach Resort in March. What is this hotel like? What about the rooms, food, entertainment etc.? Thanks!

Terri - In one word - "DUMP". There are so many better places to stay in Aruba than to stay at a run-down place with practically no beach, except an area with large boulders that they call a beach.

The Tam is not the Hyatt , it is very
laid back, great views from every room
and the staff is excellent!!!

The Tam is great. Not fancy, but lots of beautiful beach, good food, friendly staff. The rooms are ON the beach! The only area that has rocky beach is in front of 1100-1800.

Nightly entertainment
Excellent food(buffet and made to order)
Awesome beach. The only rocks were by the bar.(Maybe 100 yard walk on either side of the bar)

Rooms: very clean.

Staff: friendly and trust worthy!
We left a tip for our made while we were out exploring and she never touched it. Even after leaving a note. She only took it (begrudgingly) when my husband handed it to her.


Ask for Elvis as your server at dinner. He will go out of his way to take care of you.
