Re: Time Share Purchase
Just a suggestion since in a previous post you said you'd only been to Aruba for 1 day as a cruise stop. Don't buy at the Renaissance until you've taken a look at some of the other time-share resorts like Casa del Mar, Aruba Beach Club, Costa Linda, Paradise Beach Villas, La Quinta, La Cabana, Playa Linda & Marriott Ocean Club. If you plunge in on a buy at Renaissance and then later see the right on the beach locations, or a few of which I mentioned (La Quinta, Paradise Beach & La Cabana) are a quick walk across a narrow beach access road, you might find you prefer one of those to being downtown and having to take a boat over to the private island for a real beach, Renaissance has a small made made lagoon type beach but the "serious" beach is over on their island. I don't recommend any of the Divi time-shares as they are, according to many complaints I read about on the bulletin boards, not good about keeping up with maintaining the units and their maintenance fees are always on the rise. Also, keep in mind, some time-shares you buy only for a certain number of weeks or years, others are for life, unless of course you sell it. Also, you'll do better on a private sale than through the resort.
