We always carry a few singles with us and if we get good service we hand over a few bucks. We are always surprise how many people don't tip at all. A buck or two will always get you stronger drinks and little extras.

Re: Tipping at all inclusives

Hi Craig,
When I stay at an all inclusive, I use this rule. If I am very happy with the service I usually give about 12%. Since this is over and above what you were told to consider "tips included" . If I am really thrilled with the service I will give 15%. This is just me though, I hope this helps

Re: Tipping at all inclusives

Even though it is an all inclusive we always leave a tip, even at the dinner buffet because the staff works hard seating, getting drinks and clearing tables. I would say we leave anywhere between 8 and 15% depending on service and the type of place it is. You can figure out what a dinner would cost by looking at the front desk and seeing the prices for people who dine there that are not part of the all inclusive. I think I remember seeing that a dinner at the Red Parrot, for instance, would run about $35.00 per person. (not including drinks)

Re: Tipping at all inclusives

If you drink alot then tip the bar tenders. If the Buffet waitstaff is extra attentive then tip a doller per person. Best service was at the sit down restuarants where we tipped $5-10

Be sure to leave something for the chamber maid.
