Tropicana Casino
Is the casino at Tropicana, the one behind La Cabana, open?
Apparently construction begins today at La Cabana’s casino but won’t be ready until January.

as of aug 28 it was still not opened

aso of aug 28 they were hoping for a christmas week opening, but board president said that was very "optimistic"

I don't gamble, only becuase I really just don't know how, but our friends do. Plus, thought it would be a place to go once we were back from dinner for a drink. I guess we'll be pata pata bound, although that's usually empty at night with nothing going on there.

the past few weeks pata pata was pretty lively some nights til after 11.

also too, the marriott lobby has a great singer who performs most evenings after 8.
paul and i went there a few times, bought an ice cream cone and sat with the many and enjoyed this guy!

We’ll definitely be checking out the Marriott then. That’s something I could do all night, especially with an ice cream cone!!

The owners were told this week That the Key West Casino will be open in 15 days as for the big empty old casino is still empty, just better graffiti
