We're planning a trip to Aruba in August. What's the weather like this time of year? Also, any recommendations of where to stay?
Do any hotels/resorts cater to middle-aged couples? Thank you in advance for your helpfulness.

We went 3 years ago in August and we are going again this August. It is hot but if you are anywhere near the beach there is always a light breeze. You don't even need a towel to dry off. I'm not sure what you consider middle aged, but we are mid 30's and stay at The Mill Resort (not like the large hotels) a "bed-n-breakfast" atmosphere but not a true bed n breakfast. It is much smaller than the lush hotels but very friendly and inviting. Happy hour each evening where the bartender knows everyones names and they have limbo and drinking contests (even stuff for the kids). We are taking our kids with us this time.

Going to Aruba July 28 - Aug 4 - this will be my eight trip. In the past, it was always the third week of August. Weather has always been great. Hot, humid, but who cares, when all you wear are shorts and a t shirt, and the water is always there to cool you off.
