Does the pool construction impact the Ocean Suites side or just the Marina side? We're at the Rennaisance November 30th

I feel a little silly asking this but does the restaurant on the island have a TV where we can keep track of football? How about the Marina Tower pool, is there a bar with TVs close enough to keep up with games?
As Redskins fans, this may be a non-issue by this point in the season as we won't have much to watch. I'm thinking I may need to change our reservation to a different date to not include Sunday.
Not sure when, but we will be back

Bummer! We're at Ocean Suites. Guess we'll be spending more time at the casino.

there are 2 pools at ocean suites.
currently 1 is about 2/3 complete.
it should be up and running by the time you are there and the other pool will then go under the jackhammer.

Thanks Andrea! I probably wouldn't have made the reservation had I realized there was construction. Since we'll only be there a few days though I guess we'll stick with it. When we were at the Divi in May there was a lot if construction going on and we didn't have any issues.

Sorry I'm a little slow on the response here, but just to let everyone know, we stayed at the Playa Linda for 8 nights and had to make a move. It was so easy there; THEY moved us. We did nothing but throw things into the suitcase and left them in the room. They picked up everything and moved it all to the new room. They even found a couple things in the fridge that we forgot. It was very simple; all we had to do was get new key cards.

Thanks for your response. I love hearing that the move within PL will be an easy one! That definitely helps.

From Rob who is currently in AUA and spent time at the Renaissance Suites
    (Peggy this is good news)

This is what he posted on FB renaissance ocean suites group page

Interesting day at the Renaissance Ocean Suites today. Got to take a good look at the pool progress and learned a lot.
The project (both pools and the new decking) should be done by November 10th. Because the new deck around the pools will be tiled, they raised the walls of the pool about three inches to accomodate the thickness ot the tiles....pictures of tiles to follow. The walkways from the first floor rooms are being re-done with smaller tiles of the same thickness so everything will match.
The biggest news is the islands. The top of the islands will be concrete about four inches below the water surface. The top will have concrete "lounges" so you'll be able to lounge in the water. The view to the ocean and lagoon looks fantastic without the island vegetation there.

The small pool is fully operational. When it is done, the back of it where the clear blocks are will be removed as will the bushes and trees. You will be able to see all the way to the sea as soon as you leave the lobby.
