What would you say???

What would you say would be the BEST all around place to stay in Aruba? This is why I ask.... We will be visiting in October for our honeymoon and are in the process of budgeting our wedding. We are trying to :1. Find the most reasonable hotel(but must be clean) if we are on a Strict Budget. 2. Find a Moderate hotel choice and 3. Find the BEST/Most Elaborate hotel. Then depending on how much money we have left after paying for everything in the Wedding we will choose accordingly. Of course I would love to choose #3, but we may have to go with #1.

What would your choices be????

LaQuinta! YOu can rent a week for $400 -$500. The entire week! It is not directly on the beach, but is right acros the street. I stayed there last year and the rooms are so adorable, full equipt with kitchn living roon, bath, bedroom and balcony. Also try www.Lacabana.com and go to the rentals page.Good Luck

Re: What would you say???

Best: Marriott or Hyatt (We stayed @ the Marriott and highly recommend it.)

Moderate: Maybe the Wyndham?

Most Reasonable: Not sure.

I would contact Travel Unlimited 1-800-228-1502 as their packages to Aruba are very reasonable (actually we have always gotten the best rates with them)and run your 'wish list' by them They visit Aruba often and can give you good recommendations and assist you in choosing the perfect hotel.

Might want to go here first

www.aruba4u.com/
They have package prices to Aruba(hotel + air). Yes, Marriott and the Hyatt are the best but more $$$. Radisson and Bucuti are good also. If really need to save look at Manchebo. Sure its not big or plush but will have a great beach. For AI look at Divi.

Re: What would you say???

I would say the Rennessance. reason it;s downtown on the main street were everything is going on. you have ocean view, if you want, they have a private island or you can go across the street to their time share and use their pool or beach .for their beach the boat is in the lobby to take you to the island . cool

Re: What would you say???

Sharon,

I don't know what all this posting about Tripadvisor is about but from what I have just seen, I think everyone here gets your point.

It is not necessary to go into every thread and paste that info. It doesn't belong in the Wyndham thread, or the Manchebo thread, or the Holiday Inn thread.

If you wanted to get your information out, you could have simply started a topic and let that be it.

99.9% of the people that read up on things here have read up on things there as well.

So as much as I appreciate you trying to let others know about Tripadvisor, please keep it where it belongs, in one thread and not all over the board.

Thanks

Shammy

Re: What would you say???

Well....it seems like SOMEBODY has nothing better to do than pretend to be someone else....namely ME.

Thanks for thinking enough of MY response to YOU on a DIFFERENT board to cut and paste it and apply it here on THIS board. Obviously you are at a loss for your own words...which I find so very hard to believe since you seem to have so much excess time on your hands.

So robertrob...or is it The Solution...or maybe it's Linda....or perhaps ONTravelnut...gee I just can't keep ya'll straight anymore, but I do know that your posts come from here (---.proxy.aol.com). Looks like I've seen that IP address, maybe right above? And as you can see, MY IP address is different so........doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this all out.

And thanks to the kind person that brought this to my attention. I don't read this board, have never been here before but I sure hope you guys don't put up with this person's nonsense all the time!
