Taking off my moderator's hat, my entire family's favorite resort is the Radisson. I am putting the finishing touches on my trip review from June (sorry long delayed I know).

But, having said that, our budget ultimately determines where we stay. On Palm beach we also enjoyed the Westin.

For all inclusive we always found the Tamarijn to be the best value on the island though now that children 17 and under are no longer free, the Holiday Inn All Inclusive package may be a consideration for folks with children 16 years old and younger.

We have stayed at many resorts on the island and look forward to trying a few more in the years to come.

you are right
AI's are not inexpensive.

a very practical and good option IS renting a timeshare or a vacation home on Aruba.
