RE: Where to stay?

We go to Aruba every year and stay at the PLaya Linda. Check out the Costa Linda also. I know they are timeshares but they do rent to other people. We have been to the PlayaLinda 7 times and would not change for anything. Hope you enjoy your vacation as much as we do.

RE: Where to stay?

We have travelled to many all-inclusive places with our children and have not witnessed any of the things Pat has mentioned.
Now if you go to a super club - different story however children are not allowed.
Hope this helps.

RE: Where to stay?

John,
Our family stayed at the Divi Aruba Beach Resort for 14 days and had a great time!! I think alot of these other posts are from people who don't check their facts before giving the wrong facts about these places. Our kids are 10 and 13 and they had a great time and there were NO loud mouthed drunks that I saw or heard and we were around the pool and beach area from 9am until 4pm everyday that we were there!! They even had daily activities for everyone who was at the pool such as a friendly game of bingo and you can win things like tee shirts and beach bags and they had a bottle of champagne for the s if they wanted!! Yes, it's all you can eat or drink but I saw noone getting out of hand or irresponsible. So in my humble opinion, those who say otherwise have NO idea of what they are talking about. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at:shute66@msn.com and I will gladly give you the FACTS!!
Laura :c)

RE: Where to stay?

John I just e-mail you...as for the others who
gave false facts about the all-inclusives, you
should try them sometime. The Tam and Divi
DOES NOT have DRUNKS!!! I have been there 5
times and have never seen a drunk or out of
hand guest yet. They both have excellent staff
who are great with kids and adults. I have never
been to the Allegro so I can't comment on it ,
but as far as the Tam and Divi, I can. The average
age of a Tam guest????? Try 45-50!!!! I have seen
honeymooners, families, but the majority is in
their 40's or 50's and ALOT of repeat customers.
It is a nice resort, laid back, and anything
but loud and annoying!!!!
Not everyone going to Aruba wants to rent a
car or find a taxi to go to the different restaurants. Some people like to just lay back,
relax, get dressed up in the evening and just
walk to your own restauants or buffet at your
own resort. Plus these two resorts are CHILD
FRIENDLY....

RE: Where to stay?

I don't agree with Pat at all. Has she ever stayed at the Divi? We have been there twice and are returning for our third time this month. I would guess the average age is about 40-45 (we are average). I have never seen anyone drunk and disorderly. It is a relaxing place. We like the all-inclusive because we don't need to carry money or charge drinks and food to our room and then get hit with a big bill at the end of our trip. We still venture out to a couple of resturants if we feel the need. But after working all year we are there to relax on the beach enjoy the sun without a care in the world. You will love the Divi.
