wyndham

We have been to Aruba many times but never stayed at the Wyndham. Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed there and get your input on this hotel before we book our reservations.

Re: wyndham

It's a nice hotel. there are others that are nicer, but not worth the extra money, unless you're just rolling in it.

it's on the same beach as the rest of the hotels.

I would suggest they improve their poolside bar. The Radisons is MUCH better.

email me for specific questions.

Re: wyndham

Hi Mike, Thanks for responding so quickly. I'd like to know how the rooms are. Did u have a guestroom or a suite?? I usually dine out as opposed to allinclusive. How are the restaurants at the Wyndham. What about the breakfasts??? What time of the year did you go?? We usually go about 10 days the first week of December. I've been to the Radisson twice, the Allegro three times and the Holiday Inn. I guess thats why I need a change and want to try the Wyndham. Hope to hear from you soon.

Re: wyndham

I stayed at the Wyndham a few weeks ago. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was quite nice! We enjoyed lunch at the outdoor terrace. The buffet breakfast was good, but much more expensive than other places in the area. The Cuban show was excellent!

It was extremely windy the week we were there.

Re: wyndham

Thankyou for answering my email regarding the Wyndham. We are planning a visit the first two weeks of December. Will probably stay for 10 days. Is there a significant differential in price from the guestroom to a suite?? If so, how much more??? Also does the price of the room vary according to floor location????

Thank you!

Re: wyndham

Thank you for responding. We are planning a stay for 10 days the first week in December from 2/2/03 - 2/12/03. Is there a significant differential in price from a guestroom and a suite?? If so, how much?? does the price depend on what floor the room is located?? How is breakfast??? We have been to Aruba many times but never stayed at the Wyndham. We would like to give it a try.

Sincerely

Re: wyndham

Shelia, i sent you an email with alot of details for you.

I didn't include which room we were in. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which is simply larger than the normal guest room with a couch, chairs, and extra table. The normal rooms are just as nice. You'll want an even number room view if you can get it. I would prefer this over a suite if given the choice.

Re: wyndham

I would suggest you try the LaCabanna. If you've stayed in the highrise section before then give the LaCabana a try. We stayed one week at the LaCabana and the second week at the Wyndham and we liked the LaCabana better! The rooms, the pool and pool bars and the beach is better at the LaCabana.

Re: wyndham

I stayed at the hyatt 5 years ago and just got back from Aruba last week. Stayed at the Wyndham. While the inside of the hotel and the rooms are nice, the grounds are not near as nice as the Hyatts or the Raddison's. The food was OK, not great. Staff was really nice

When I go back, I will stay at the Hyatt or the Radisson. If they were full I would stay again at the Wyndham.
