Wyndham

In case anyone is considering hotels, I just got back last night from a stay at the Wyndham. It was tremendous. The view, accommodations, people, and the beach were great. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

Re: Wyndham

I AM LEAVING FOR THE WYNDHAM ON APRIL 16TH WITH MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND HER FRIEND. THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST TIME AT THE WYNDHAM DUE TO RENOVATIONS AT THE ALLEGRO. WE HAVE STAYED AT THE ALLEGRO FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. GOING TO MISS IT. WILL THE WYNDHAM BE ACCOMODATING FOR 12 YEARS OLDS?

Re: Wyndham

Brian, may I ask was your room a deluxe room? We leave on the 18th I have reserved a standard room. Do you think that I will have a nice view? Some of what I have been reading makes me a little worried.
thanks

Re: Wyndham

the wyndham is great for all ages.the pool there is the biggest i've seen so far in aruba.and the food was great ,beach awesome! your 12 yr old will love it.we had a standard room which was ok but it was not overlooking the pool it was on the other side overlooking the stupid blue roof.check with your travel agent and request an even numbered room the view is better, enjoy!

Re: Wyndham

join wyndham by request program on line. It is free and you will get an upgrade to the next level room for free upon checkin if you ask. This should make you eligible for a room overlooking the pool. I believe that all the standard rooms overlook the blue roof.

Re: Wyndham

I think the standard room overlooks the blue roof, but you can still see part of the ocean.

We got upgraded when we went there because we requested to get moved to the ocean view. We got upgraded without extra cost because my girlfriend is a master negotiator, but I think it costs something like $30 extra a day. I would pay that in a heartbeat for the pool/beach view.

The view from that side makes it a LOT better, so I would try to upgrade if you can.

Re: Wyndham

Have a lot of fun Connie.

I just looked at the weather in Aruba and it is basically sunny and 88 for the next ten days, and the weather is almost always top notch. I am jealous.
