Wyndham

Have a question we have a standard room in our package at the Wyndham.

Are there differences in the standard rooms (like some have garden views, some have views of the street), please let me know so I know what to ask for when we get to the desk. Thanks!

Re: Wyndham

The even numbered rooms are facing the pool, ocean and the city of Oranjestad. The odd numbered rooms face the inland side but there is still a view of the ocean. And every afternoon on the "odd" side you can sit on your balcony and listen to the band at the Aruba Grand next door. The higher floors are more valuable....(there are 18 - the highest hotel in Aruba)

We stay at tne Wyndham twice a year and have a wonderful time.

Oh yeh, are you a "Wyndham by Request" member. If you are you get some extra perks...

Re: Wyndham

All are ocean view as the hotel is angled to the water. Ask for an even numbered room, the lower the number the better (1102 is better than 1116). Also, join Wyndham by Request (free on their web site). Make sure your reservation is updated to include your Wyndham by Request number and you will get some small goodies in your room. Also, it is more likely they will upgrade your room as a "member".

Re: Wyndham

The standard rooms usually do not look out over the pool, but over a roof. All rooms have an oceanview, but the standard rooms are further away from the water.
Join Wyndham by Request on line and they will automatically upgrade you to the next level room when you check in (sometimes you have to ask). Also ask for a room on a floor as high up as possible, also an even numbered room with as low a number as possible. All the room levels, with the exception of suites, are all the same size and quality inside. It is just the placement of the room that you are paying the difference for.

Re: Wyndham

Nice hotel but the beach is too windy! Check TripAdvisor.com for more info on this.
