Has anyone been to Aruba lately.I was there last Nov and the Wyndham was supposed to have some construction.I want to go back this Nov but I am wondering if the Wyndham looks bad due to work done on it?Any info will be greatly appreciated.

i just got back from the wyndham. i did not notice any construction except for the side parking lot.. very small amount and nothing in the hotel itself

Lucky You,I hope your stay was as nice as ours always was.I want to go no matter what's going on but my husband was worried about the noise,mess and whatever else construction does.He does that work all year long and dosen't want it on vacation.He's been trying to talk me into going to St Marteen this year and Aruba next year so I'm trying to convince him it'll be OK.Thanks

Just got back and no real construction except in the parking lot. Did have trucks that were backing up wake us at 7:00am! My husband is also in the business but the same thing happened to us in Bermuda.

Just returned on Saturday. Saw nothing in regards to any renovations or construction going on.

I was there 4/16/-4/23/05 and there was no construction going on. I hate it to when there is banging , cranes, motors etc. Everything was ok

Think about why they call it the "Wind-ham".
Way too windy, if it isn't too late try a different hotel.

If you are going for the beach its impossible to sit on the beach without sand in your face, even if you are in the water!
