I will be in Aruba for two weeks starting January 15th. First week at Renaissance and second week at LaCabana. My wife will be arriving Sunday January 17th so with going back and forth to the airport and then moving to LaCabana I figured it would cost about the same to rent a car for one week starting Sunday January 17. Any recommendations for rental car company near renaissance or LaCabana as I don't want to pick up rental car at airport. Also does anyone have any discount code for rental car?

I have had nothing but trouble from the car rental service in the lobby of the Ocean Suites. I forget the name but not the frustration. I would look online for American car rental. They drop off the car and pick it up on schedule. I would not bother with a car for more than two days. At the Ren you can walk to everything. Up at LaCabana you will probably stay close or cab it to a restaurant. I would rent the car on the day you plan to go to babay beach and if you want to go to The Old man and the Sea or to the Flying Fishbone a $40 cab ride each way.
