Flea Market
I always visit the flea market, you can find some cool Aruban souvineers. The prices very low and the flea market always seems busy with tourists and locals.

Red Sail Sports Aruba
I always use red sail sports for water sports rentals and sails. They provide top of the line service with every water activity. The staff are friendly, professional, and put safety firtst which I also really like. Their sunset sail is amazing, I do it everytime I am in aruba.

Ruinas del Mar (Hyatt)
I love the breakfast and brunch here. Never ate here for dinner, but the atmosphere at night is beautiful with fountains and torches, very romantic!

Gianni’s Ristorante Italiano
Gianni's is a huge italian restaurant across from the high rise hotels. It offers TONS of outdoor seating, a great italian menu, and good food and wine. I love their gnocci. Good prices and service too.

Duty-Free Shopping
Duty free shopping in aruba is GREAT. GUCCI is 20% cheaper than in the states and no tax. I always stock up :)

La Trattoria El Faro Blanco
I make sure to visit this restaurant on every visit to Aruba. It is great italian food with friendly service. The place does not look like much, but it is one of those Atucked away Aruba well kept secrets. Nice quiet atmosphere away from the action. Good prices and wine list too!

Salt and Pepper
I always go to salt and peppers at least once for lunch or a light dinner. Their special is small plates. the food is average, but it is so fun to eat outside and people watch. If you bring salt and pepper shakes from home, they put them on display and you get a free glass of wine or $ off your meal. The location is convenient too, right accross from the high rise hotels

Palm Beach
Palm Beach is my favorite beach in Aruba. It is located in the high rise area and offers beauty, water sports, palapa huts, and the most perfect walk along the beach. For me, it is the only area I would ever stay in. No visit to aruba would be complete without a visit to Palm Beach!

Oranjestad
Over the years, Aruba's capital has expanded its shopping immensely. You will find the renissance hotel mall here, with stores such as Guess, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Mango, XOXO, Little Switzerland etc. There are also duty free shops and tons of gift shops here to check out. They even just added a Starbucks!

Paseo Herencia shopping & entertainment center
This mall is located just a short walk away from the high rise hotels. While it is touristy, it is nice to walk around after dinner to some of the shops or to get some dessert. They have stores such as Guess, Duty Free fragrance store, a first aid hut, a newsstand, aruba aloe, among so many others.

The Radisson Casino is one of the best, it offers great variety in gaming and is just a lot of fun to visit after dinner

Screaming Eagle Restaurant / Lounge
This restaurant has a good location not too far from the high rise area and was a lot of fun. You get to eat dinner in a nice canopy bed. They have a VERY extensivy cocktails menu. The food was good, not excellent, but it is a fun experience to have, expecially for a romantic diiner.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino
I have stayed here 5 times. The staff will go above and beyond for you. The pool and resort are immaculate and offer something for everyone,water slide,tennis,a great gym and spa,top rated restaurants, several bars, a juice bar, pool volleyball, tons of daily activities, a casino, and renovated rooms with balconies. You cannot beat the location,tons of places to eat and shop just accross the street. Red sail sports is also on premesis, which is great for last minute water adventures.
