My husband and I have been together for 15 years and travel at least twice a year. This year (2010), we took our first trip to Aruba. Oh my gosh.. I don't even know how to explain it. We have been to some tropical areas, but I have never been or seen any place like Aruba. I'm not sure if it's because we are empty nesters for the first time or if it was the atmosphere. So laid back, So friendly, So wonderful!! i can't wait to go back. We own timeshare and spent our week at LaCabana. Everyone was wonderful, we had good meals, Flying Fishbone was great, Las Ramblas has excellent steaks. I can't think of one time we did not enjoy ourselves. It holds true to the saying, Aruba is "One Happy Island". Thank You to the Islanders for making our vacation one I won't forget!
