About Me
Travel all over the USA and finally beginning to recreate outside the USA - first trip to Aruba is next Monday - 30th - and am debating what to do and see.
Could use some advice and tips for the people who have been - or even live there.
I am looking forward to the week down there and then see if i can make it a regular stop - like Hawaii - as i head there three times a year - and wanted to begin seeing the islands closer to home !
Help with any suggestions - i have booked flights and hotel - but sites (as a Catholic I should have plenty to see)
As a History buff - I would be interested in history of Aruba..

btw what type of music interests you??....there is a big variety of places to go to for every genre of music...we just recently got HArd Rock Cafe in Aruba!.

OO...did I mention parasailing...that's great!....as for trying the local food I would go to Drifwood (Seafood), Old cunuco house (Local food "all types" as well as papiamento restaurant which is also Arubian.

Fort Zoutman would be a great start when it comes to History: every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm there is what we call a Bon bini "Welcome" festival....feauturing: local talent , food, arts and craft.

..................well...are you traveling by yourself?....it would be great to go for a tour and do some watersports....let me see....kwart racing....or horsebackridding...a bike would be a great idea....you can't get lost here....Going out with the dunne buggy would be awsome too!....or even a Harley!...
