UltimateBet (“UB”) announced that the online poker room will be holding its final major qualifier for the 2009 Aruba Poker Classic this weekend. The Aruba 50 Seat Super Satellite will award an $8,500 Aruba Poker Classic prize package to the top 50 finishers in the $530 buy-in 50 Seat Guaranteed, scheduled for Sunday, September 13th at 17:30ET. Each prize packages includes the $5,500 buy-in to the Aruba Main Event plus $3,000 for hotel and travel expenses to the hottest poker event in the world.

On Sunday, August 30th, UltimateBet held its previous 25 Seat Aruba Guarantee. A mere fortnight later, and the online poker room is at it again. A film crew from Colombia is currently on Aruba filming fresh, exciting footage for two daytime programs starring Colombian TV personalities Nataly Umaña, better known as Jenny Rico of “Las Detectivas y el Victor,” and Laura Acuña, famous presenter of “Fuera del Lugar” and “El Lavadero” on RCN TV.

The stars enjoyed dinner at Windows on Aruba the evening of their arrival followed by a day of sport activities including golf lessons under the watchful eye of James Kiley, Divi Links head pro. The VIP guests are staying at the new suites of Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort which they report simply sensational and in view of their mission to sample all of Divi’s products on the island enjoyed lunch at Mulligan’s Golf Café Bar & Restaurant, after shooting on the Divine Nine golf course.

Overall, the crew captured ten program introductions on Aruba and recorded two “make a wish” segments, one in which Nataly experiences every type of Watersports fun activity and the other in which Laura learns to golf, first in the Divi Links Learning Center, later on the Divine Nine Golf Course. The group was escorted by Nathalie Maduro of the Aruba Tourism Authority and hosted by Tabitha Fecunda, Island Marketing & Promotion Manager, at the Links at Divi Aruba.

All of the Aruba footage was coordinated by producer and program creator Ivan Dario Charia who has been running the 25-minute programs for nine years, each Saturday, on the popular Colombian channel.
