The Radisson Aruba Resort Casino & Spa hosted a gala, black-tie evening just recently in celebration of the resort’s colleagues, concluding 25 years of uninterrupted service.

The evening included an Anniversary Celebration, an award-presentation to the Colleague, Supervisor and Manager of the Year, a three-course lobster and steak dinner, festive dessert and dance music with Tsunami.

Attended by the resort’s managers and department heads who mingled and welcomed their peers, the evening was a much enjoyed success, as colleagues celebrating silver anniversaries were escorted by family members, who also got to share their moment of glory and appreciation.

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa recognized five of its employees for their outstanding contributions and performance during an employee recognition awards ceremony held on December 20th, 2011.

Theo Poiesz food & beverage purchaser was honored as the Manager of the Year and Richard Ferrrero of the maintenance department was elected as the Supervisor of the Year.

Divi Village opened its new lobby without much fanfare, but with great pride. The spacious new facility was also designed to serve guests checking into the Divi Links Residences and the Dutch Village. With tall ceilings, large fans, natural wood beams, rough-cut stone walls, and open windows and doors, the lobby allows the tropical exterior to become an integral part of the structure. While the center stage is occupied by a user-friendly front desk, the right wing is dedicated to timeshare sales and the left wing to a sunken lobby bar with comfortable seating and an upstairs round lounge hanging just below the tree tops, overlooking the sunsets on the beach and the 9th hole lagoon.
