Aruba is proud to announce that the hit musical group, Air Supply, will play a “Night of Romance” concert on the island on Saturday, June 2, 2007. Taking a break from Aruba’s beautiful beaches and surf, fans will instead be swept away by the dynamic duo’s captivating performance and enchanting music as they perform at Elias Mansur Ball Park. Arrive to a night of unparalleled entertainment as Air Supply will touch hearts and get feet tapping, making it a highlight of any romantic stay on the island where happiness lives.
Air Supply is one of the greatest soft rock bands of all time. Over the past three decades, Air Supply songs have defined love and romance for generations of sweethearts and have enchanted audiences throughout the world. Their trademark simple songs and beautiful voices have determined their place in worldwide music history. Air Supply has written and performed some of the most romantic songs in musical history including the singles “Lost in Love,” “Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You),” and “Making Love Out of Nothing At All,” one of their all-time greatest hits, selling over four million copies. Local acts include the 25th reunion of Cryptus Confession, the band behind the 1980 hit “Love Dream,” and an after-concert party with OREO, one of Aruba’s famous local bands. The concert is being sponsored by Coca Cola and Balashi Beer.
